O-Ring Kits for AS568 & Metric Sizes

Three New O-Ring Kits Satisfy Multiple MRO Sealing Needs

The problems associated with rebuilding hydraulic and pneumatic components and replacing O-ring seals on older equipment can be overwhelming. Part numbers are commonly missing, seal dimensions are unspecified or unknown, and the parts themselves are often unavailable from the OEM or local supplier.

Parker Seal has solved these problems by developing three new O-Ring replacement kits. These kits, which consist of an assortment of Parker O-Rings in popular sizes, provide sealing solutions for a variety of applications – often for about the same cost as a single OEM replacement seal.

Three Different O-Ring Kits Now Available
Ideal for most U.S.-built equipment, AS568 Kit #1 contains the 30 most common O-ring sizes used in general applications. For hydraulic fittings, Boss Seal Kit contains the 20 standard tube fitting seals for tube ODs from 3/32 to 2 inches. Metric Kit #1 is specifically designed for equipment made overseas, and contains the 32 most commonly-used metric O-Ring seals.

Standard N1470-70/N1490-90 Nitrile and Other Compounds Available on Special Order
The standard material supplied with the AS568 and Metric Kits is N1470-70, a standard 70 durometer nitrile rubber that is compatible with most petroleum-based oils, greases, and hydraulic fluids up to 250°F, water and water / glycol hydraulic fluid to 120°F, and most general purpose seal applications. N1490-90 (90 durometer nitrile) is normally supplied for the hydraulic fitting Boss Seal Kits to provide higher system pressure capability. Other Seal elastomers such as EPDM and fluorocarbon are available for more demanding sealing service.
